Guatemala – Shark diving

Guatemala is not regarded as a typical diving destination, but exciting adventures await on the Pacific coast. Divers there experience volcanic reefs, plenty of large fish and, seasonally, encounters with sharks, including silky sharks and hammerhead sharks. The remote sites and sometimes strong currents make diving especially appealing for experienced adventurers seeking a less crowded alternative.
