India – Diving with sharks

India is still a hidden gem for divers, but it offers impressive underwater worlds. The Andaman and Lakshadweep Islands in particular attract with clear waters, colourful reefs and a rich diversity of species. In addition to manta rays and large schools of fish, divers can also encounter reef sharks such as blacktip and whitetip reef sharks. Shark diving is less common than in other destinations, which is precisely what makes India exciting for explorers.
