Scuba Do Curaçao is based at Jan Thiel Beach by Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort. The centre offers courses, guided dives, equipment and a weekly 2-tank boat trip to Eastpoint. For this trip Scuba Do works with SeaNatives; the diving takes place at the remote eastern tip, which is reachable only by boat.
Shark diving
The same rule applies here: Curaçao is not a guarantee destination for sharks. The Eastpoint reefs are one of the few parts of the island where shark encounters remain biologically plausible. The area is little built up, more current-swept and much quieter than many easily reached coastal sites. Nurse sharks at ledges or a more distant Caribbean reef shark are possible, but rare.
Scuba Do presents Eastpoint mainly as an untouched reef and nature experience, with tarpon, moray eels, turtles and abundant reef life. For shark-minded divers, that is exactly the right reading: do not book it as a specific shark dive, but as a strong boat trip with a realistic bonus chance.
Area and logistics
The trip is a guided 2-tank tour with boat access, a surface interval in more protected water and a normal Eastpoint drift profile. No fixed season is listed because the available evidence is site- and luck-dependent. Recent dive experience, clean buoyancy and comfort with boat diving and current matter more than a particular week of the year.
