Special Shark Encounters
A standout feature of the Eco Dive School is the regular sightings of the Atlantic nurse shark (Ginglymostoma cirratum). These sharks are known to be peaceful and curious. They often rest on the seabed or search for food without posing a danger to divers.
With a length of up to 2.5 metres and distinctive barbels on their snouts, they are easy to recognise. Sightings of nurse sharks are considered a special highlight for visitors, as they offer the opportunity to observe these animals in their natural habitat.
