Dive Centre & Equipment

The centre is centrally located in Hurghada, near the Meraki Resort, and is open daily. In addition to a friendly, multilingual team (German, English, French, Arabic, Polish), Diving Star offers:

A fully equipped dive boat (Sweet Maya) with spacious decks
High-quality rental equipment & daily maintenance

PADI Training – From Beginner to Professional

Whether you want to gain your first diving experience or take your training to the next level – Diving Star offers certified PADI courses at all levels:

All courses are conducted in small groups – with personal supervision, modern learning materials (also in German), and comfortable course conditions directly from the boat.

Daily Boat Dives

The heart of Diving Star’s offering is the daily boat trips to the most beautiful dive sites in the Red Sea:

Two dives per day, rotating spots depending on weather & experience level
Drift dives with Zodiac support possible
Full board on board (lunch & drinks included)
No dive site is visited twice during the same stay

Whether colourful coral gardens, wrecks, or steep walls – the diving area around Hurghada offers the perfect experience for every taste.

Diving with Sharks

While classic day trips around Hurghada occasionally allow encounters with reef sharks (e.g., blacktip sharks), the hotspots for oceanic whitetip or hammerhead sharks are further south – e.g., at the Brothers Islands or Daedalus Reef.

Diving Star can assist you in planning such trips or offers the perfect training to prepare you for future shark liveaboards. So, if you’re looking for large pelagic sharks, you should consider a combination of course + liveaboard.
