Ocean Encounters is the largest and best-known dive center on Curaçao. The dive center organizes daily boat trips to the best spots along the south and east coasts, including steep walls, wrecks like the famous “Superior Producer,” and colorful coral reefs. In addition to guided dives, courses are offered from Open Water to Divemaster, as well as introductory dives and snorkeling tours. Diving with Sharks
The waters around Curaçao are known for their biodiversity. In addition to turtles, eagle rays, and large schools of tropical fish, divers also have the chance, with some luck, to spot nurse sharks and Caribbean reef sharks. Encounters are not as frequent as at hotspots like the Bahamas, but exciting sightings still occur regularly. Ocean Encounters also takes divers to more remote sites, where the chances of encountering big fish increase.
