Diving with Sharks
Maple Leaf Scuba offers exciting diving experiences with sharks. Particularly popular are the bull shark dives (Carcharhinus leucas) off the coast of Playa del Carmen. These impressive animals can be regularly observed in the winter months from November to March. Additionally, excursions for whale shark snorkelling tours (Rhincodon typus) are offered—the largest fish in the world, which seasonally inhabit the Caribbean.
