Three dive centres – seasonally open
Divinguru operates three dive bases on the south and east coasts of Sri Lanka, which are open depending on the monsoon season:
- Unawatuna (South Coast): Open from October to April – ideal for wreck and reef dives.
- Nilaveli (East Coast): Open from April to October – directly off the coast lies the famous Pigeon Island Marine National Park.
- Uppuveli (East Coast): Also open from April to October – known for relaxed beaches and species-rich underwater landscapes.
Diving with sharks and large fish
Those who dive with Divinguru can not only look forward to colourful coral reefs and tropical fish schools. Particularly exciting are the encounters with large marine life: reef sharks, eagle rays, barracudas, and occasionally even whale sharks are among the highlights. Turtles and huge schools of fusiliers also make every dive an experience.
